First time here, I was amazed by all the options. I was looking for powdered herbs to make tea. Everything I wanted was in stock. The herbs were sectioned in alpha order. I'm definitely going back because I saw plenty of items I wanted to try. There were a few people walking around to assist with any questions I had.

I just love this store, the only downside is parking. I had to park several blocks away from the store which is not good due to medical issues, but the the advantage outweighs the disadvantage right now, so I persevere. I really wish they would move to a new location, and provide parking. Otherwise, it's clean, organized, good service, friendly staff, and great variety of products it's an overall great experience to shop there.

Good service just felt I wasn't able to shop in peace. Workers hovered! I would recommend however, there is a wide selection of vitamins plus, and I prefer to shop in a store where I can take my time to choose what's best for me.

I usually buy medicine at whole foods or moms because they have popular product and also very convenient. But some times I really need Asian medicine without speak Chinese or Chinese prescription. Usually before I go to shop for medicine I study for a little. So this time I study and make a tea... medicine tea. It was so many variety and very clean inside . I looked at leaf section it was wonderful ... and very kind sales person. 1 thing I couldn't find but it was ok others I did found.. also they have membership ( free) so I can get discount.... Some products are high price than other place because I usually buy on sale. But if another place isn't sale i definitely coming here to buy stuff...

I appreciate the customer service and the variety of vitamins and minerals they offer. The store is large enough to accommodate social distance and space to roam around. I'll admit I haven't see. The whole store. I'm not that type of shopper. I typically have a list and I get what I want and leave. I did the same during my most recent visit. However I noticed social distance spacing is clearly indicated on the floors to guide customers to the register which I appreciate. It alleviates me from conversing with other other customers during COVID. Nevertheless the space is clean and the service is superb. There's assistance if you need it. Oh the have vitamins in oil form too for those who prefer it to pills. It's behind a counter so you will need to get help if that's your preference. Overall I really like this location. It's very close to my home and Center City. More importantly I'm always in and out since there aren't any long lines.

Honestly, I came into Penn Herb to escape the heat during the 2nd Street Festival. However, I ended up staying for more than just the AC! Penn Herb is a rather unique store in my opinion. It seems to have everything from teas to supplements. It also has a few more standard offerings like drinks, but it would never been called a 'grocery store' as Christina H also pointed out. I certainly support pharmaceuticals (with appropriate medical guidance & prescription) but also know there can be a role for other, more basic herbs. This shop has plenty of variety when it comes to vitamins and such and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable enough to help guide you. They also had some pretty amazing teas, one of which I headed home with! Prices are reasonable and as I've said selection is far and wide. Overall, they might be worth a visit if you find yourself in the area...
